At Sportresidenz Zillertal, resource-efficient methods are employed in all areas, including the use of eco-friendly, sustainably certified cleaning products. The room and suite amenities are exemplary in being refillable and reusable to minimize waste. Additionally, we offer downloadable brochures on our website, ensuring that even their production emphasizes sustainability.
The Energy Management
Even before stepping into the lobby, the solar panels on the roof catch your eye, providing the entire house with green electricity from solar energy.
The Architecture
Inside Sportresidenz Zillertal, you'll encounter natural, high-quality materials such as wood and stone. In addition to the satisfaction of enjoying sustainability, you'll experience pure luxury: spacious rooms and suites equipped with infrared cabins and, in some cases, private saunas, offering a retreat of the highest standard. The three-story wellness area invites you to holistic relaxation: a natural swimming pond accessible directly from the jetty, a sauna and steam bath on the next floor, and the crowning jewel on the roof – an infinity pool, the Sky Sauna, and a sun deck with breathtaking panoramic views.
The Mobility
Environmentally friendly and convenient travel by train? Yes! The Uderns station is just about 850 meters away on foot, and Jenbach station is only 15 minutes by car. However, guests don't have to walk to the hotel: thanks to the “Private Pick-up Train Service,” you are picked up free of charge from Uderns or Jenbach station. The shuttle bus runs 100% on electric power.
There’s no need to skip excursions just because you arrive without your own car. For exploration, e-bikes are available. Additionally, there are e-charging stations directly at the hotel. Guests arriving by electric vehicle can easily recharge their cars on-site.
The Spa
In the past, our felt slippers generated significant amounts of non-recyclable waste each year. For this reason, we opted for an eco-friendly and reusable alternative. The new bath shoes are carefully disinfected and hygienically reconditioned to meet the highest standards.
Our exclusive spa bags also make a statement for sustainability: they are made from 100% biodegradable materials and are lovingly handcrafted. The eco-friendly material – a combination of organic cotton, latex, natural pigments, and cellulose fibers – is sustainably produced in Germany.
The Culinary Delights
Natural, regional, and seasonal are the three key ingredients for sustainable culinary enjoyment at Sportresidenz Zillertal. The hotel restaurant, “Genusswerkstatt,” marks the impressive finale of Green 9, doubling as the clubhouse for the exclusive golf course. The kitchen prioritizes products from local farmers.
